Ballynona House offers fine countryside views.
We experienced discomfort due to the cold attic rooms with a temperature in the low 60s. The windows were not airtight, leading to condensation, and light fixtures were intermittently functional. It was concerning to hear noises from rodents in the attic.

Very positive stay, as always. A relaxing base for short stay. Marvellous breakfast with bacon and toast, as for instance and accommodating staff.

Couples looking for a lovely getaway
Kamla really knows how to, were great with a full Irish breakfast, everything was fresh and tasty. And let me tell you, her freshly baked soda bread? A total game changer, not just food, it was an experience.
It was a bit pricey but honestly worth it for the experience you get.

Sad, sad, sad! I expected to be treated like royalty, yet I was left in a drafty attic room with no heat and unreliable lighting, perfect for a horror movie. The lack of a shower curtain made washing impossible. I almost rated it positively, but what happened to proper care ? I just couldn't do it.

The tranquil countryside, giving a warm welcome to this charming B&B. Kamla, the host, embodies Irish hospitality. The communal breakfast with other guests was a good social experience, even as the shower stall felt a bit cramped.

I stayed in the Budget Double Room for a night and really liked it. The bed was super comfy. I appreciated the heated blanket on a chilly evening. The room had a lovely quirky vibe. The house itself does show some age, but that adds to the charm, I think. The strong Wi-Fi helped me stay connected.
